Platinum Physiotherapy would like to invite you to this Practical and interactive workshop to learn more about Your Pelvic Floor.
Our newest team member, Mary Kate Ryan will deliver this workshop.
Mary-Kate Ryan is a specialised women’s health physiotherapist with years of experience treating pelvic floor dysfunction. Join Mary Kate on Saturday July 14th at 10am in Clonskeagh for this wonderful workshop.
In this workshop Mary-Kate will provide details about the Pelvic Floor muscles: where they are, what they do and what can happen when it is weakened or too tight. She will give tips on Posture and Breathing, as these are essential to pelvic floor and core stability.
The practical component will focus on exercises for pelvic floor relaxation and strengthening in a functional manner and tips on how to achieve good posture and breathing techniques.
This workshop is for anyone who is interested to learn more about their pelvic floor muscles. From office workers who want some tips on sitting postures to female runners who want to improve their technique. It’s also a must for for mums or mums-to-be whose body has changed and they want some tips on how to get strong from the inside out.
So many women only start thinking about their pelvic floor when they are pregnant or after they have had a baby, yet the pelvic floor muscles work with the deep abdominal muscles, the diaphragm and the back muscles to provide us with the stability to function in our daily lives.
