Cake for breakfast – sound too good to be true?

Well you can have your cake and eat it too without the guilt! These little banana, wheat free, sugar free little wonders are the perfect protein rich breakfast or afternoon tea treat.

The combination of banana, nuts and flax seeds make them the perfect fibre filled morning fuel. They take only 20 minutes to bake and two minutes to prepare and inhaled in seconds!

Bake a few at a time and have your breakfast prepared for the week!

Ingredients
Base
1 mashed banana
1/2 cup gluten free oats
1 teaspoon flax seeds
1 teaspoon almond butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch of stevia or 1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoons cocao
2 heaped tablespoons coconut oil / quality vegetable oil
1 tablespoon of pecans/hazelnuts

Topping
1 teaspoon of almond butter / homemade Nutella (almond butter and raw cacao)  / nutella

Method
1. Set oven to 190 °C
2. Combine ingredients
3. Grease small ramekin dish
4. Pour in ingredients and bake for 20 minutes
