Milena shares some insight into this innovative way of training

For me – being at the leading edge of Pilates & Movement Therapy means that I will forever be a student. I will never get to a point in my career where I think – that’s it, no more study, no more exams.

Milena Byrne - The Franklin methodI’ve come to realise that in order for me to give my clients and our business a constant injection of inspiration, education & information, my job is to go out there and find the leading edge educators & experts to learn from.

My current learning journey is with an incredible man called Eric Franklin – Founder of Franklin Method™ and I’ve recently certified as a Level 1 Franklin Method Educator.

The Franklin Method® uses Dynamic Neurocognitive Imagery™, anatomical embodiment and educational skills to create lasting positive change in your body and mind.

The Franklin Method was founded by Eric Franklin in 1994 and is taught all over the world, including the Universities of Vienna, Cologne, Karlsruhe and the Juilliard School in New York.

Milena with her Franklin Method qualificationThe Franklin Method is a totally new way of training, in which you train function by learning / feeling / experiencing how the body is designed.

Instead of trying to fit your body into different exercise regimens, positions and machines, it teaches about the body from the inside out and using the mind to make lasting improvements.
