Meet Aisling, the newest member of the Platinum Pilates and Physiotherapy teams. Since studying her MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Trinity College Dublin, Aisling has been busy working in private practice in Dublin.

Aisling’s background growing up in Limerick means her love for local sports teams has infused her life and passion for sports. Her zest for all things activity and health-related has flourished too during her time working with the Shannon RFC in Limerick, Limerick FC soccer team, and also Carlow GAA.

While her first love is Physiotherapy, Pilates is a close second and when she’s not busy seeing patients at the Glenageary, Honey Park, Clonskeagh or Leeson Street clinics, she’s teaching group classes in one of the seven studios.

My Physiotherapy approach is…. I like to look at every injury as an opportunity to upgrade your system. When setbacks in the
body happen you can choose to let your injury define you or you can take control of your injury and life. I choose the latter always and try to approach each injury in that way.

When I’m not teaching or seeing patients, I am... always learning and challenging my body and trying out new ways to exercise
or move. I completed my first triathlon last year which was amazing and if you don’t find me in the Pilates studio or physio clinic you’ll find me I the gym or out for a run or a cycle, in Lahinch, outdoors exploring or watching rugby – I’m a proud Munster supporter!
