MEET BEN DOYLE
Clinical Director, Platinum Physiotherapy
Our Clinical Director is Ben Doyle BSc, MSc, MISCP, MCSP & MHPC.Ben is a Specialist Neuromusculoskeletal Chartered Physiotherapist and registered member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP), the United Kingdom Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the Health Professional Council (HPC).
Ben gained a wealth of experience whilst working as a senior MSK physiotherapist within a dynamic and pioneering team which included specialist Physiotherapists and leading British Orthopaedic Consultants. Ben continued to work as a Specialist Physiotherapist within the NHS and was involved in the implementation of Paediatric, Hand and Shoulder clinics alongside highly regarded Orthopaedic Consultants.
Ben is a specialist in all areas of musculoskeletal dysfunction and injury but his passion lies in sports Physiotherapy and rehabilitation. He was previously head Physiotherapist for the Carlow Senior Gaelic football team and his home hurling club, James Stephens in Kilkenny.
He has previously worked with high profile Olympic athletes, professional football players and Senior Intercounty GAA players. Ben’s wealth of experience and expertise ensures that each patient will receive the highest level of treatment and rehabilitation.
To achieve the best results, he often employs specialist techniques such as traditional Chinese acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, dry needling and spinal manipulation.
My Physiotherapy principles are… simple – I believe Physiotherapy is a manual profession which should involve hands-on therapy and a holistic assessment to prevent future injury reoccurrence.
My Physiotherapy ideology is… “prevention is better than cure”.
