MEET LIANE WHELAN

PILATES + BARRE INSTRUCTOR

Liane is a classically-trained ballet dancer and teacher with a passion for movement and all things health and fitness. Liane discovered Pilates as part of her cross-training for dancing and has never looked back. Her dancing background carries over to her Pilates style of teaching, where she brings stretch and flow movements to her classes, assisting our clients with building long, lean muscles. 

My Pilates/Barre style is…. My Ballet Barre workout combines ballet inspired postures and positions with lengthening and sculpting movements. I like to focus on challenging neuromuscular coordination through multi-limb functional arrangements. The benefits of which include improved posture, flexibility and coordination while toning your arms, stomach, hips, thighs and glutes.

I love to teach…. and coach others how to listen to their bodies and bring more awareness into the collective that is mind, body and movement.
