Reformer Pilates can be suitable for some injuries or back pain because it offers low-impact, controlled movement, but it depends on your specific condition. Consult your healthcare provider and inform your instructor so exercises can be modified safely.
Deep core strength – Build the stabilising foundation that supports your spine, protects your joints, and changes the way your whole body moves from the inside out.
Functional strength and tone – Spring-loaded resistance challenges every major muscle group through full range of motion, building genuine strength that translates directly into how you move in daily life.
Low impact, high demand – Deeply loaded and dynamically challenging without the impact on your joints. Reformer Pilates delivers a level of muscular work that surprises even the most conditioned athletes.
Posture and alignment – Counteract the cumulative effects of modern life. Targeted work through the spine, shoulders, and deep postural muscles creates lasting change in how you carry yourself.
Breath, control and body awareness – Every movement is connected to breath and intention. The result is a practice that sharpens your relationship with your body while delivering a genuinely demanding workout.
Expert led, every session – Our teachers are among the most qualified in Ireland. Every class is coached with precision and expert guidance.
Both Mat and Reformer Pilates are based on the same core principles of strength, control and mindful movement—but they offer a different experience.
Mat Pilates uses your own body weight and small props such as bands or balls to build strength, improve flexibility and develop core stability.
Reformer Pilates uses a specialised Reformer machine with adjustable springs that provide both resistance and support. This allows for a greater variety of exercises, making workouts more dynamic while also being adaptable for all fitness levels.
