Jennifer Higgins
Chartered Physiotherapist
Jennifer is highly experienced Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor with over 8 years of experience in the field. Jennifer graduated with a BSc Physiotherapy from University College Dublin in 2015.
Upon graduation Jennifer started working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in a thriving private physiotherapy clinic in Dublin. She has a passion for helping her patients achieve their physical goals and improve their overall well-being. In addition to her musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice, she has taught Clinical Reformer Pilates which she believes is an important complement to traditional physiotherapy. Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or simply looking to improve your overall fitness and health, Jennifer is dedicated to providing the highest quality care and support.
Jennifer has developed a special interest in treating shoulder injuries and is a member of the Irish Shoulder and Elbow Rehabilitation Society.
Having over 7 years working in private practice Jennifer finds the greatest satisfaction in helping people fully recover from injuries and improve their physical abilities. She has experience with a wide range of patients, including athletes, elderly individuals, people with chronic conditions, and those recovering from surgery. She enjoys creating customised treatment plans that take into account each individual’s unique needs and goals.
Fiona Byrne
Chartered Physiotherapist
Fiona is a highly qualified and experienced physiotherapist, with an honours degree from UCD, DMA Clinical Pilates (Australia) and dry needling (Singapore). She has 13 years of global experience, encompassing acute hospital physiotherapy, private practice and clinical Pilates. Fiona treats a varied caseload of musculoskeletal, spinal and sporting injuries, and prides herself on practising evidence based treatments.
She believes that incorporating exercise through Clinical Pilates as an adjunct to traditional ‘hands-on physiotherapy’, is the most efficient and effective way to optimise full rehabilitation from spinal pathologies, pregnancy-related pain, sports injuries and postural dysfunctions. Her passion lies in helping patients understand their condition, and empowering them to take ownership of it, through manual therapy, exercise and clinical Pilates.
Courtney O’Connor
Chartered Physiotherapist
Courtney is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Athletic Therapy and Training from Dublin City University in 2022. During her studies, she developed strong skills in injury assessment, rehabilitation, and pitch-side support. She also completed a six-month international placement in Virginia, USA, working with lacrosse, American football, and basketball teams, where she further enhanced her experience in sports injury management and qualified as a Mat Pilates Instructor.
In 2025, Courtney completed her MSc in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Her clinical placements spanned hospital and community settings, working with patients of all ages and presentations, including paediatric, elderly, post-operative, and sports-related conditions. Alongside her studies, Courtney worked in two private physiotherapy clinics and a gym environment, delivering injury management, rehabilitation programmes, manual therapy, and leading fitness and Pilates classes.
Courtney takes a holistic, patient-centred approach, combining hands-on physiotherapy with movement-based rehabilitation such as Pilates. She supports clients of all abilities to restore function, improve strength, and build long-term resilience.
She has a particular interest in sports injuries and performance rehabilitation. Having competed in Irish dancing at world championship level from the age of three, Courtney has a deep understanding of the physical demands of high-level sport and the importance of structured, progressive rehabilitation. Outside of work, she enjoys running, strength training, and Pilates, and is currently training to become a qualified Irish dance teacher. She brings this passion for movement and performance into her clinical practice, helping clients move with confidence and achieve their goals.
Mary-Kate Ryan
Chartered Physiotherapist
Mary-Kate graduated with a BSc honours degree in physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin in 2009.
On graduation, Mary-Kate moved to London where she worked in a rotational post across two acute hospital sites in The National Health Service for 5 years.
Mary-Kate’s passion for Women’s Health began in University and she has completed many post-graduate courses to expand and develop her knowledge and skills in this area.
She is a certified Mommy MOT practitioner and has a wide range of experience in treating women with Urinary Incontinence, Prolapse, Pelvic Pain, Pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions and Rectus Diastasis. Mary-Kate has also trained in acupuncture and dry needling and uses these skills to complement her treatment.
In 2015, Mary-Kate moved back to Dublin and began working in private practice. Having three young children herself, Mary-Kate understands first hand the physical demands on a person’s body during and after birth and how essential specifically tailored exercise programmes are pre and post-natal.
She has completed postgraduate courses in Pilates, Acupuncture, Advanced manual therapy for the treatment of the pelvic floor and Manual lymph drainage She is also a certified Rehabilitation breast cancer exercise specialist and is a member of the renowned pink ribbon programme. Mary-Kate believes in a holistic approach towards patient care and is very passionate about helping women to regain their physical and emotional well-being.
Ellen O’Gorman
Chartered Physiotherapist
Graduated from University College Dublin in 2023 with a first-class honour’s degree in BSc Physiotherapy. Ellen went on to complete an MSc in Sport and Exercise Medicine at Ulster University in 2024 and was awarded a Golf Scholarship. During her studies, she developed advanced skills in injury management and rehabilitation.
With experience managing a wide range of musculoskeletal cases, Ellen has a particular interest in sports injury management. Drawing on her own experience as a competitive athlete, she has represented Ireland at the World University Golf Championship and is a member of the Leinster Women’s Golf Interprovincial Team.
Ellen is passionate about integrating Pilates into rehabilitation programs using her certification as an APPI Pilates Matwork Instructor. She believes in the effectiveness of combining Pilates with traditional physiotherapy techniques for a holistic approach to injury recovery and overall well-being.
Her volunteering experience includes working as a pitch-side physiotherapist for UCD Women’s Rugby and supporting participants at the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon. These roles have deepened her understanding of injury prevention and rehabilitation. Additionally, Ellen is trained in SAFE Rugby Level 2, Immediate Care in Rugby and is a qualified Personal Trainer.

Rebecca Coyle
Chartered Physiotherapist
Rebecca Coyle is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a first-class honour’s degree in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin. She has gained extensive experience across Ireland’s leading hospitals, private practice, and hospice care, giving her a broad and well-rounded clinical foundation.
Rebecca has a strong interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and takes an evidence-based, patient-centred approach to care. She combines hands-on physiotherapy with movement-based rehabilitation to help patients restore mobility, build strength, and achieve long-term functional outcomes.
She is a certified Clinical Pilates Mat work Instructor with the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute and a Natal Reformer Pilates Instructor, allowing her to integrate tailored Pilates-based exercise into rehabilitation programmes. This approach complements traditional physiotherapy and supports safe, effective movement retraining for a wide range of conditions.
Rebecca also has expertise in sports injury management and injury prevention. She holds SAFE Rugby Level 2 certification, qualifying her to provide pitch-side care, and draws on her background as a qualified personal trainer to design individualised exercise programmes that support recovery, enhance performance, and promote overall wellbeing.
Passionate about helping people stay active at every stage of life, Rebecca works closely with patients of all ages to achieve their personal goals. A keen runner herself, having completed the Wexford Half Marathon and the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon, she brings a holistic and empathetic approach to rehabilitation that empowers patients to move with confidence and return to the activities they enjoy.
